Cosmetology
1600 Clock Hours
Full-time Program: 30 hours/week for 53.5 weeks
Part-time Program: 20 hours/week for 80 weeks

The cosmetology course of study is designed to assist you to pass the Bureau of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing examination, which is required to obtain a Cosmetology License and operate as a cosmetologist in the state of California.
The Cosmetology curriculum includes technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices included in the art of cosmetology. Technical instruction includes demonstration, lecture, classroom participation or examination. Practical operations relates to the actual performance by a student of a complete service on another person or mannequin.
